Using Keyword Research Tool for Your SEO Campaign
The right keywords are important for any SEO campaign and finding the right keywords can be very simple with the many keyword research tools there are out there. There are some that are extensive but require a paid subscription while there are also some that are limited yet free.
Here are some to keyword research tools, both paid and free, that you might want to consider using:
Google Keyword Research Tools
Google has a number of different tools that can help you with your keyword research. For instance, Google Adwords has a keyword tool that can be used to help generate new keyword ideas with search volume statistics.
Google Search-Based Keyword Tool is a free research tool that is designed to supplement AdWords by generating keywords based on Google search queries and by matching keywords with analytical data.
Google Insights for Search is a free keyword research tool that compares search volume statistics by means of niche variables such as search terms, locations, and time ranges.
Keyword Discovery by Trellian
Keyword Discovery requires a paid subscription. With this tool you can compose keyword data which is compiled from all the world’s major search engines and then use the data to figure out phrases that are popular for your product or service. You can also gather and use competitor data to understand their campaign strategy.
Trellian also offers their Free Search Term Suggestion Tool that will generate 100 alternative keyword suggestions compiled from the major search engines.
SEMRush
SEMRush helps you generate different keywords as well as analyze your competitors Google search results.
They have a free limited version which will allow you up to 10 listings per query and 20 results per day. They also have a couple options for more extensive versions which will allow you more queries with more results per day and will give you more preference for analytical reports.
Wordtracker
With Wordtacker you can conduct a lateral search in order to compare keywords with those of competing or related pages. Since it gets its data from Dogpile and MetaCrawler, you will be able to gather other data not just data from Google search engines.
For Wordtracker you need a paid subscription. However, they have a free keyword suggestion tool which you can use even without a Wordtracker subscription that can be added to your Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox 2 or 3 browsers.
These keyword research tools should get your started generating the right keywords for your campaign from a Seattle SEO business, but remember that the right keywords will get you nowhere if you don’t use them within the right context with compelling and relevant content.
